Introduction to lifelong learning service skills and training unit

The Skills and Training Unit of Neath and Port Talbot County Borough Council offers a wide range of training and development programmes, across a wide range of different sectors.

The training programmes include:

  • Preparatory Training including work experience with an employer, 
  • Princes Trust Cymru Volunteer groups 
  • National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) at Level 1, 2, 3 and 4
  • Foundation Modern Apprenticeships and Modern Apprenticeships
  • Key Skills.
  • Off the job training in the form of a technical certificate
  • Work based training linked to specific occupations
